In its sixth year, the Faulkner women’s basketball program has quickly risen to a championship-caliber level in the competitive Southern States Athletic Conference. Through five seasons the Lady Eagles have enjoyed three 20-win seasons, a conference championship and a NAIA national tournament berth. The program has also produced a pair of All-Americans in Brittney Carter and Christina Hayes. With head coach Reed Sutton and his staff steadily on the recruiting trail in search of top talent, and the future of the program appearing to be extremely bright, it seems to be only a matter of time before more championship banners are hanging in Tine Davis Gymnasium.
